I always find my magic and spell work stronger when in sync with the moon cycles, but a busy witch like me lets those days slip away from her sometimes!
Of course, a waning moon isn’t the best time to attract wealth, let along anything else, but instead of trying attract money like you would with a waxing or full moon, try to lessen your spending by preforming banishing, or letting go spells during the waxing. These simple spells are for my other simple but busy witches that need to cut back on spending!
Black or white candle Banishing sigil of your choice(this one is my favorite) Ritual knife(or anything to carve into your candle)SaltYour wallet, bank card, or some of your currency
Gather your things, and set yourself with intention. Ground, mediate or cast your circle - do whatever you usually do or feel you need before your spell work. Become clear in your intention to banish your temptation to spend your money. Carve your sigil into your candle, and as you’re carving, visualize the sigil glowing, burning into the candle with your power. Place your candle in its holder, and set your wallet, card or currency in front of it. Light your candle, with your own affirmation, or you can use mine:
I banish temptation for things I don’t need this waning moon releases me my wealth stays put, while temptation leaves this waning moon releases me Temptation is banished. So mote it be.
As you say this, sprinkle your salt around in a circle around your wallet and the candle. If you wish to blow the candle out after your affirmation/chant, or you can leave it to burn through.
Tea of your choosing(best something with peppermint in it!) your favorite tea cup or mug clear quartz(cleansed, charged & physically clean) moon water(optional)
Gather your things, and set yourself with intention. Ground, mediate or cast your circle - do whatever you usually do or feel you need before your spell work. Become clear in your intention to banish the temptation of spending your money. Begin to brew your tea, all visualizing yourself saying no to the daily coffee stop, no to that cute top you saw in the window the other day, and no to going out to drink/eat with friends or coworkers.
Today I spend nothing for nothing I will need My wealth stays with me, and mine it will be
Drink your tea and end with, “so mote it be." (Or any other closing phrase you like)
