For those who believe in reincarnation, would you care to share your recollections of some of the lives you've lived? And how about some of the future lives you'd like to experience?
I know at one point I was a pilot with a wife and two small kids but I do not remember them growing up, and in this life I have a random fear of being impales, so I assume my plane crashed and I died from impalement .
@Lumine Herbfly That is interesting! I often wonder if seemingly random fears and worries -- and likes, for that matter -- arise from other lives. I hope your wife and kids did OK after you died in that crash.
I seem to have lived many times as a Mexican or a Chicano/a -- and most of those as a man, although I do think I experienced life as a Totonaca Indian woman at least once. (The Totonacas live in the Mexican state of Vera Cruz and were the builders and inhabitants of El Tajin, which is now an archaeological site. Their "flyers" still perform the Voladores ritual there, for the public.) In this life, although I am racially about as WASP as you can get, I've always been attracted to and felt very comfortable with Hispanic culture and the Spanish language -- and my favorite cuisine is Mexican, of course!
I also have recollections of living as a white person (gender unknown) in a little town on the Mississippi River, sometime in the mid-19th century and as an Ancestral Pueblo girl in the town of Wijiji, in Chaco Canyon, sometime in the 11th century (now an archaeological complex in northwestern New Mexico.)
