Hello everyone!
I'm a new witch, living in Australia...I don't really know what to call myself except a new witch! I'm very keen to learn as much as I can about the Craft and build myself up to workings and making oils and things.
Olivia's videos have been amazing, and I am so happy I found her and this community on YouTube. I bought a book "The Modern Guide to Witchcraft" by Skye Alexander, and have started devouring that. The amount of information is quite overwhelming, but I'm trying to just work my way as steadily as I can into things. I've started with meditations, as that is the thing I feel I find the most difficult, but from everything I've heard and read, it's so important for spells and manifestations and such. So, just a little bit at a time, I suppose.
Anyways, I look forward to getting a bit more involved with the community here, and if anyone has any advice or suggestions, anything and everything is welcome!
Cheers
Ziggy
Meditation will be difficult at first~ and definitely reliant on what kind you're doing. I've been doing it here and there and the running of the mind is the hardest to reel in! But, i believe in you! I'm also a newbie witch who's just floundering around and gather things here and there from many different sources! You're not alone and I have full faith in your journey going forward!
I think the one thing i would suggest is as you find spells, information and other tidbits that catch your attention have a separate book where you collect things that you've found, will/have tried, and what speaks to you! Then, move the ones that have settled in your spirit or have felt the most true to your craft and journey then move those into the final Grimoire/BoS. that first book can work as a reference point and a 'hey try this' for fellow covenmates or friends :D maybe something you've found will work best with them!
