My name is Kathleen, but I'm often called Kat. My witch name is Will-o-the-Witch. My childhood home was also home to large weeping willow trees. I'm of Irish and Scottish descent, and a faerie creature in Celtic folklore is a will-o-the-whisp. I am also a Christian Witch. And so I have the witch name of Will-o-the-Witch. If you want, you can call me Willow Kat.

Hello! Another fellow Christian Witch!
I would love to hear how you blend the two, Christianity and Witchcraft, it's always so interesting to hear other's stories and experiences, if you don't mind sharing!
I find a lot of similarities in witchcraft and Christianity. There are a lot of bible verses that can be attributed to Christian Witchcraft. I don't follow ten commandments per se. I instead follow thirteen virtues.
Temperance
Silence
Order
Resolution
Frugality
Industry
Sincerity
Justice
Moderation
Cleanliness
Tranquility
Chasity
Humility
These thirteen virtues/traits were written by Benjamin Franklin as rules for the lives we live. I attribute these two my craft as well as my faith. I also ask God to guide me in all that I do when I practice. There are similarities between Witchcraft and Christianity that would shock a lot of Christians. Unfortunately, the Bible Belt is still a bit naive to history's bad reputation given to witches. All we can do is endure the ridicule and keep our practices as civil as possible.
I'm still a baby closet witch, but this helps me in my faith, and I say that if witchcraft helps you in your faith (as long as it isn't harming others), no matter what it is, then what is the harm in doing it?
