Hi everyone!
This year I've been experiencing my first ever anxiety/panic attacks, and not realizing that my dad and grandma both have thyroid issues, found out it may be hyperthyroidism. Has anyone else experienced this? Can anyone give me any tips with dealing with this?
Thank you!
You really need to consult a professional physician before seeking a magical solution for something like this :) have you seen a doctor yet?
Yes, I have! And I'm just wondering if anyone else has gone through or are going through this, I'm not really looking for magical solutions, just someone who can relate and maybe give advice on what works for them, maybe?
If not, no worries! ^_^
Oh no problem at all! I just try to make sure (at least when it comes to physical health or mental health) people seek out the mundane solutions also!
My mom has seen some success with hibiscus flower. She has had thyroid issues, as well. (Even had to have part of hers removed in my youth.) She seems to have benefited from mood balancing, and body temperature regulation.
It is lovely steeped as a tea, with some honey. (Or not, if you prefer) My preference is to make an absolutely heavenly homemade ice cream with it! The flavor is delicious, and there's no beating such a vibrant, natural color! :)
Obviously, clear with it with your doctor first, however. Worth a try.
