Do you read with or without reversals? Why so?
I personally do not read with reversals nor do I plan to begin doing so. I have explored them, and I have the bare bones of reversals memorized, but I don't feel they add anything special to the readings.
What are your views on this? Do you think reversals are important to get an accurate reading or do you think they're just another way of saying what the upright cards could already say?
I'm still learning tarot, but I don't think I will learn reversals. They do not appeal to me and seem confusing.
I don't with my Tarot deck, but I do with my Oracle deck. That's because of the specific Oracle deck that I have though; The Earthbound Oracle. This deck does not come with a guidebook, and each card only has a single word on it. I find that reading the reversals as the opposite of the word really adds a lot of different interpretations to this deck. I also enjoy being a little more rigorous with my shuffling of this deck (laying them all out on the table and letting the cards rotate/mingle with each other). :)
