I received my first taro deck from a friend and I'm sure that it hates me. All the readings I do have negative meanings and I don't understand why. I have cleansed it three times and it still hates me. Any incite would be welcome.
It takes some time for a new deck to bond to it's owner. Just spend some time getting to know it better, carry them everywhere, do readings often. This will help strengthen your relation to your deck.
You can trying carrying the deck with you for a few weeks or so and maybe when you are feeling more settled with the cars you can try practicing outbjn nature. While you are bonding learning deeper meaning g to the cards can help you understand them to their core.
negative meaning aren't always bad. a friend of mine often says tarot isn't good or bad but it does tell you what you need to hear. Sometimes the cards are calling you out. It may not be a message you want to hear but sometimes it is one you need to hear. That being said make sure you feel a connection to the deck. Gifts are nice but sometimes every deck doesn't mesh with every person. Beyond that I would say what everyone else has take your time and keep your deck around you. If they deck actually hated you or was "done" with you it would most likely disappear or a card would go missing. To this day I don't know what happened to my first deck we put it away on our way back from a trip got home and it was gone. I'm told that's fairly common though Ive only heard a few stories about it.
I don't plan on using tarot cards yet or im not so sure. It's not good to tamper with tarots but i think if you can maybe make a spell to help. - Your covenmate, lia
