I'm going to be traveling to japan in September and I was wondering if anyone had any good travel charms, spells, or other things? I have never traveled anywhere except to Mexico on a cruise ship for my honeymoon and I felt very uneasy. Any help or advice would be awesome! Thanks!

I would suggest taking something with you that is a favorite item of yours and enchanting it to help you feel good :) It could be different ones, too, if you wanted, like a simple charm bracelet (lol get it?) for feeling at ease in public, or if you are going to travel/hike/explore, then maybe an enchanted water bottle (plus, moon water).
I actually just recently made some protection while travelling charms to keep in my car
I didn't have any black sachets so I cut a black dress sock and cleansed with burning frankincense (My personal preference, you of course can use whatever means of cleansing you like)
I put a bay leaf - protection
thyme - cleanses negative vibrations
lavender - promote peace during travel
peppermint - prosperity during travel
black salt (which I had fun making myself by burning herbs and grinding the ashes with regular salt), and 1 piece each of black tourmaline, amethyst, and a regular quartz (i usually use these to amplify the vibrations of the energies within a sachet
Then I tied off the top with a piece of brown yarn to keep me grounded and focused while driving.
All of my ingredients were cleansed and then charged with protective energy (in this case I used the moon)
Every now and then I'll shake up the sachet to kinda renew the energy so it doesn't get stagnant :)
I was just looking for something like this. I wanted to make a sachet to put in my car to help me stay calm and focused while I have to travel 1.5h (round trip) for a class I'll be taking in the fall semester. Are there any other herbs/stones you'd recommend instead of black tourmaline and lavender? I don't have those, and I don't have the funds to acquire one until this class is paid off.
@ Irreverent Chemist As far as stones go, you can never go wrong with just regular quartz because it's an amplifier of the energies you surround it with (the herbs, the oils etc), or you can charge it with your intention and add to the pouch. And a good substitute for lavender imo is chamomile, which is usually easy to get because you can find it in sleepy teas at the store or even just dried and on its own at walmart :)
Most importantly, follow your intuition of what resonates with your intention of your bag.
I made this pouch for myself and my bf's car, and we've had close calls but always came out safe and sound :D
I just created a small mojo bag for my car since I'll have to travel 1.5 hours each direction to school and back. I used:
A red and white cloth to protect the mechanical (no breakdowns or accidents!)
A yellow thread to bring mental clarity for me (the driver)
A bay leaf to protect me from road rage, animals jumping in front of me, sleepiness, dullness, accidents, etc. A large pinch each of:
Rosemary to protect (was specifically thinking of thieves while I was in class)
Thyme to cleanse any negativity
Some really strong mint for clarity of mind
All spice for luck and success.
I tossed in a silver ring I found to represent coming back to where I started.
And, finally, I tied it off with a brown ribbon for grounding as long drives tend to either make me restless or give me anxiety.
During my research into how I wanted to put this together, I came across green tiger's eye which is supposed to be good for travel. If any of those help, toss a bag in your luggage, take an enchanted piece of jewellery, etc. Beyond that, I can recommend trying umeboshi and rice if you want to try something completely different. It's a salt-pickled plum that is very, very strong. You shred it up into tiny bits for an entire bowl of rice. It's unusual, but traditional.
