I wrote out the things in my life that I wanted to be rid of, folded it 7 times, went outside, and burned it in this wine goblet. I know that chalices are usually for water/feminine, but this was what I had on hand, and I wanted something that I could keep for future moons as well that would look better than, say, a metal coffee can.
Cast circle, called unto my patron Goddess Hekate, did a tarot reading for guidance on what to do next. (Basically get out and do the thing and start everything new).
Wrote everything I specifically want to banish on one side of paper, wrote everything I specifically want to draw in on the other side. Read everything aloud with feeling starting with "I banish..." Or "I draw in.."
Lit it on fire and let it burn in my cauldron, added dried rosemary and chamomile to the flames for new beginnings and a banishing that balances fire's destructive energy.
Drank some tea and recorded my thoughts haha
Welp! Being my first Official New Moon Ritual, Simply did cleansing meditative/Verbal Spell Shower/Baths. Baby, Me, Husband, and Dog, and everyone felt Noticeably better. Cleansed house with relaxing music, and incense= again NOTICEABLE difference! Everyone seemed happier, healthy, the house feels lighter and more relaxed. I Physically felt MAJORLY charged while I was sleeping, best sleep I've had in FOREVER!! Charged some Moon water last night, Gave one bottle to husband and had one myself. We were pleasantly surprised how cool and fresh and ENERGIZING it tasted! XD Husband just sort of smiled at me and said "If it works! It works! I knew you were a witch!" Overall Family seems healthier and more energized and feeling great! Sorry lol. Sort of turned from "what did you do" to "how it worked" lol Blessings to all of you! Witchymom
First I cleaned my apartment, then took a cleansing shower, cleansed the apartment with sage, lit some candles and sat down for a tarot reading. I just did a simple new moon layout I found online that helped determine what I should focus on this lunar cycle and how to attain my goals. Then I redid my money bowl with clear intentions (I wasn‘t as clear as I should’ve been last time) and sat with it for a while. Then I reached out to my goddess, Ishtar, for guidance as to how I can move past whatever is blocking me from growing. I’m still waiting for a response but I ended the day feeling so relieved and calm and got some of the best sleep I’ve had in a long time.
