Hey lovelies, so I'm a baby witch and want to do my part in helping the protests even though there aren't any around me. Anyone have tips or protection spells to protect the protests either on a massive scale or the ones I know personally. I have only done protection on myself and my room before. My resources are limited at the moment, but I want to do what I can.
Also, if anyone is currently out in the protests, you're doing great!
That sounds like a lovely thing to put your energy towards <3 and really if you are unsure of "doing a work on that scale" or limited in resources the best thing you can do it set aside some time in the day just to send out all that positive energy and those protective thoughts into the cosmos and effect change that way. Your energy and intent is the most important part of any working, nothing else is really required :)

I always love a good sigil for these kinds of situations, like a protest one can't attend due to distance. A sigil has so much versatility and you can be so so so specific with your intention. You can set up a space on your alter or create a space for the sigil to live and charge it with a candle, maybe some protective herbs like rosemary/basil/black pepper/salt (you could make a little salt/rosemary circle around the sigil and imagine it as a protective shield around the protesters, just be sure to refresh it and don't let it be broken/disturbed), or you could simply write an incantation/mantra/poem/song to say aloud with the sigil and charge it with your intent that way. The possibilities are endless and the best part about sigils is all you need are pen and paper. I'd say it would be stronger if you focus on protesters who you know and can picture in your mind's eye, but I think you can also put your energy into protecting the protesters at large. Just be very specific with who you want protected! You don't want to accidentally protect any anti-protesters out there who may want to cause harm to others. And at the end of the day, if all you're able to do is send out positive intentions/energy to the protests, that is still worth so much and can be actually just as powerful as performing a full spell/ritual.
