Hey all! I hope you are all enjoying the holiday season. With new years coming up I have had a family tradition come to mind where we all have a beer on the 12.00 hour to honour my grandfather who had his birthday on new years day and he has never stopped watching over our family. He passed when my mum was 10 I believe and as far as i know it's something that's always been done (kids, of course, are given fizzy drink or sparkling grape juice). With the explanation now aside, I was thinking of including him in the tradition (not that he wasnt i clouded to begin with though) as in offering a drink of beer for him to partake of. My only question is how would I dispose of such an offering afterwards? I have a pot of dirt in my backyard for offerings when i feel too lazy to go on the walk that I also dispose of offerings on. Would I dispose of the beer in the pot of dirt or on the walk? Naturally, yes I am planning of recycling the actual bottle, just dont know what to do with the beer itself.

Both. I like to use tea as my offering and I just pour it on the grass, down a water stream or just into the sink when I feel lazy lol.
