So, I am learning Japanese, and as I am also getting back into magick and spells I have a question for you all...
What is your opinion/experience in casting more than one spell to work towards the same goal?
For example: I plan on casting a spell to help in my language learning efforts, and because I want to start integrating spell work into my life more I was considering more than one, such as a petition, sigil, candle and anything else that strikes my fancy. I know I can integrate all of these elements into a single spell but what if I decide to make them separately such as placing the sigil on my study materials, burning a petition on a night that is convenient and using a ritual on the full moon?
It's not that I think I NEED more (afterall I can do it without magick just with a bit more difficulty) I just like the variety and practice.
On a similar note, if I cast multiple manifestation spells during the waxing moon and some blockage clearing or banishing spells on the waining moon all towards the same goal of learning Japanese? (As that is my magickal goal for this upcoming moon phase.)
Any input and conversation on the topic would be awesome and if anyone else has any questions or concerns on this topic please feel free to add them here!
I think the waxing moon is all about making big manifestations and achieving certain dreams wether they are money, mythical, realistic or witchy. I think it's fine to do multiple spells and it's actually a really smart idea cause if 1 spell fails the other will take over.
I may self use enchantments, sigils, and crystals for protection so it is doable, but in the end its up to you
I don't think there's anything wrong with taking multiple paths toward a goal, but I would caution you against overdoing it. I find, if I want something TOO much -- investing a disproportionate amount of time and energy in manifesting it and generally OCDing about it -- I can actually drive it off, rather than attracting it. The old saw, "all things in moderation," works for witchcraft, too!
I advise against overdoing it if it seems like things keep going wrong for a specific goal because I'd take that as it probably isnt meant to be. However, I've found that doing spells to draw in certain things I feel I am lacking - it can show the thing that is truly the problem and if I feel I need to do a spell for the true problem, I will. Hope that makes sense lol
