So i've done my spellwork, and at first it was good; The flame is tall, bright, clear, and even (THE FLAME WAS LIKE THIS THE WHOLE TIME OF THE SPELLWORK and thats a good thing). So I waited for hours and then it finally melts but the flame does not extinguishes by itself (this makes me confused cuz I asked some witches about this and they say when the candle melts, the flame will extinguish by itself) then I realized that it put flames in my petition paper. For safety, I blow the flame. My question is, DID I MESSED UP MY WHOLE SPELLWORK WHEN I BLOW THE FLAME EVEN IF THE CANDLE ALREADY MELTED/GONE?

Generally blowing out a candle being used for spellwork ends the spell where as snuffing it pauses it. Every candle burns and melts differently, any number of things can make it go out by itself and its near impossible to predict. Depending on how close the spell was to being complete and the wording of said spell you should be fine. I hope this helps!
Welcome to the wonderful world of parallel but possibly clashing beliefs. :-) A large number of sources will say exactly what @Iridescent Cataclysm said (blowing out the flame "blows out" the spell while snuffing the flame "pauses" it), but there are those that state snuffing out a still-burning candle is equivalent to snuffing out your spell, as well as some that say one should never pinch out the flame of a still-burning candle because that cuts off the spell by "pinching" its energy off from the universe. I personally like the correspondence in the idea that blowing out the flame disperses/weakens the energy of a spell, but I suspect you'll find support for any number of interpretations. If your gut tells you the spell worked -- especially if you were practicing good fire safety! -- then I don't think you've created any problems. :-)
Hello there! I will have to agree with @Brian NobleHeartedLion. There´s a very important consideration here, remember that a candle is a tool, just that. The real magick and intention is found within you. So even if you blew out your candle, don´t doubt yourself! Keep your intention strong and focused, and your spell should work just fine! :)
It also depends on the work you may have been doing as well! I feel in my spells that if I'm doing something to send something or someone away from me, then blowing out a candle could be appropriate to the ritual as it's done with that intention in mind!
If I do any other working to draw things in, I try to let the candle burn and if I need to pause it for safety reasons, I snuff it with the back of a spoon. Just wanted to add my thoughts
Wow -- for some reason, the idea of blowing someone/something away from myself while blowing out a candle never occurred to me, and now I'm feeling kinda dumb for that while also feeling excited about working that into a spell I'm planning on... Thanks!
Haha! I've been reading and seeing this in some folk magic books :D glad it helps!
That depends on your tradition that you follow. It’s generally only in pop new age witchcraft that blowing out the candle ends the spell. I’ve never heard of that in traditional witchcraft. Get to know the system of witchcraft you practice would be my answer.
