I've studied both green and sea witchcraft, but neither felt quite right. For some back ground, I'm an Army brat. I was born in Florida and raised in Hawaii, and even spent some time n Louisiana. So I've always been around wet flat lands all throughout my life. I'm wanting to rely understand the environment that my craft thrives in. In doing so, i need to know how to honor and respect the history of these areas. Something about the swamp just feels like home though.

The best way to honor the history of an area is to do research and read about it. If something is playing a part in destroying that land, be active if you can in participating in groups to stop the destruction of it. Swamps are teeming with life even if it seems otherwise, and Have very unique plant life. Research the local plant life and learn how to harvest (SAFELY) those plants, preserve them, and use them in your craft.
