I am always hesitant with just throwing out a finished candle. Then I am hesitant with just letting it sit at my work station.
I have learned that you can throw your candles out to the dump at crossroads. Bury them, depending.
Could anyone share their process with a finished candle?
Can I simply toss it at any dump or indoors trashcan? Is there a closing/ending process before tossing, etc?
Writing on them 🕯✍🏾
I recently found a spell that I eventually ended up working with but it was kind of messy and etc. I used a tea candle and in the steps it's required to write on the candles with a black pen.... my markers, pens and ink pens were not going on easy/thick or smooth. The wax ruined the permanent markers and the crayola (?) markers did mark but thin and messy/barely. The person didnt share exactly how to get a great pen or what type to use for it to be bold and perfect. I didn't have a black candle to scratch into so this is why I used a white tea candle (as directed for those without a black one).
What are some great marking pens? Can you scratch into them and apply black ink or paint?
Anymore tips on candles would be great and welcomed.
Thanks
Anytime I dispose of finished candles, the important part is to dispose of it with respect, and the intention to thank it for the work it’s done for you!
when I write on candles, the only time I use sharpies is when it’s on the glass that contains the candle. If I ever write on the candle itself I use something sharp and just lightly carve the writing into it, and you can use powdered herbs or glitter to make the markings visible after dressing the candle in oil or some kind of charged water.
Thank you. Sorry I thought I replied to this when you first answered.
