I would like to make my own anthame but I don't have access to a forge and I am unable to work with heated metals. Any tips for making one under these conditions? I was thinking that it would be cool to make one out of animal bones but since I have no experience with making an anthame I thought I would ask here.

I don't really have the background to say how good this is but I did find this sight:

A bone atheme sounds awesome. If you do try it please share! Sorry I couldn't be of more help
This is great, thank you so much. But I'm still not sure if a bone anthame will have the desired energy conductive properties though. EDIT: Bones are apparently semi - conductive and piezoelectric https://www.math.arizona.edu/~gabitov/teaching/131/math_485_585/Midterm_Reports/Bones.pdf
@Corvin that is an interesting point... I suppose electrical conductivity never popped into my head before as a concern. For my uses conductivity would be more important for the wand than the atheme but even then spiritual energy doesn't have the same restrictions as electrical charge.
There are definitely some people and energies that a bone knife would NOT work well with. Vegitarians and vegans being the most obvious. But I do think that anyone working with more "primitive" energies or Hunter/fighter spirits, animal spirits, or even cooking magick involving meat, could bond very well with a personality made bone atheme.
Probably due to my background in archaeology, a chipped stone blade set into a bone/antler comes to mind. I bet there are oodles of YouTube videos on flintknapping and working with bones, including antlers.
Whatever materials you decide on, may your athame-making journey be blest and joyous!
@Arachne Thank you
I wouldn't use bird bones, mine is a clear crystal I bought for... 3€ at that time...
@Illien Soleil I agree, bird bones are hollow and would be hard to work with. And I know buying an anthame is an option but I really feel like I should make mine
@Corvin that's totally fine, have considered using wood of the tree you have as tree zodiac?
@Illien Soleil Could you send me wood-zodiac relations please? I usually do not work with the zodiac signs at all.
I'm just gonna add a celtic tree zodiac here if anyone finds this thread and would like to have different options:
