Hi guys, recently I got stuck in a rut. I didn't have an incense holder so every time I tried burning it in my room I ended up burning myself in some way. I lost count how many times my poor thumb had to suffer.
I was on Pinterest a few days ago and I saw a recipe for cornflour christmas ornaments. I'd like to think I'm a rather creative person so when I saw it my mind instantly went to 'but what if I could DIY this into anything?'. So off I went and managed to flex some diy muscles and made myself some clay discs (thanks Olivia for the inspiration!), an incense holder and some other random things I wanted.
The recipe I used is below (I neglected to add any silver glitter):

Below is a photo of some of them, excuse the mess around my altar, this was a temporary shift in things but everything is in working order now!

Hopefully this is useful to at least someone. The recipe was super fun to do and I enjoyed seeing what I could do. If you're ever bored and want something to do I would recommend seeing what you could make out of this!

I'm going to try this recipe! I made some flour clay once that turned out alright but I'm always looking for better DIY clay. Thank you so much for sharing.
Wow! That's awesome! I've been looking for some clay that's not air-dry. I always feel like air-dry clay is... unfinished? This is super simple and sounds like it works like a charm so I'm excited! Thank you for sharing!
Very clever
