Some of the basics i started with was mediation, energy play. Learning your own energies however you like. Then i went working on circle casting, and lore. Personally went it comes to reaching something like Candles i would start with what you have access to like if you only get Walmart basic candles, you could start with colors, sizes, types of bases to catch the wax, how to carve them, then see what you could add to the candle like essential oils. Like build from what you can uses but if your really into something go for it.
Hope this helps or at least an idea :) Good luck
😍😍 thx for the map you just said
Hi! Start small with a simple white candle or maybe even a tea candle and try to connect to it meditating. Just focus on your breathing and watch closely the flame. After a while you'll find moving along to it. Do a lot of research on colors and moon correspondences. Then move along to ways to anoint the candle and so on. Start small and connect with the element first, and when you feel comfortable with it, start working with intention.
That is something I'm going to try! Excellent advice.
Thank so much .. but what do you mean by connect with the elements first
@ShiniGami When Rain said to start off with a candle and meditation, you watch the flame and you'll find yourself in tune with the flame, as you're moving to the motion of the flame. You getting in tune with the flame is you connecting with an element (Fire). When you're moving to the flame, you're connected with the element. I hope that helped you understand a little more.
Going to a book store and finding a book about the craft that you are interested in and reading, taking notes along the way is super helpful!
Sadly these kind of books r really rare where I live .. And I cant order online
@ShiniGami what about ebook?
Been studying here and there and haven’t dabbled in practicing until this year. I’ve got all of the temple of witchcraft books (Christopher Penczak) in physical form, but have found out I get a lot more studying done with the convience of having them on the kindle. Which I do highly recommend getting his inner temple of witchcraft. It doesn’t get into playing with any tools, but it is a strong foundation. His second book in the series (outer temple) focuses more on spell work and tools, but I think the first book although might seem boring, once you get into it, you really see the power of why having a good foundation is imporrant.
