Any information is good as long as its about witchcraft! I'm pretty new still, I know how a spell works and have done a few little spells but I unfortunately don't know very much so I'd love to learn how to do this properly.

Hi, it is hard to know what info is right or wrong, but generally there's many correct methods/answers which can be frustrating. I tend to use 2/3 websites to find the same answer and compare them- if they say the same then I'll go with it, and if conflicting answers then I'll dig deeper. I also think it's true that with witchcraft, your instinct is always right. If you feel like a certain crystal makes you feel a certain way then use it. Websites like witchipedia can be useful to give you the general idea of something, but definitely double check the information and make sure it checks out with your intuition. If it tells you blue but you feel green, go with the green. Harmony Nice is a good youtuber, (more wicca though,) and she has a pretty informative book that goes through the basics if you want a kick start.
Hear, hear, Emily Stone! "Go with your gut" is an invaluable base for you Magikal practices (and for everyday life, for that matter). Thanks for the Internet info, too. I'll check it out.
Blessings on your journey, Ellie!
I love the gallery of magick books. A trusted source. I have bought many of them on Kindle edition for 4 or $5 a piece. So I can take the magic with me! Lol these authors have put in many decades of research practice and experience to their work in order to publish these books on magical practice of all kinds. I always recommend them because they are filled with phenomenal insight and information that is unmatched.
Hi, Ellie... As was already mentioned, check out at least 2-3 sources when researching anything; I'm continually amazed at how many (sometimes mutually exclusive) "right answers" there are for just about any question. I think that one of the more trustworthy online resources (again, don't go with just 1 for your answers) is witchipedia.com -- but I guarantee if you type "witchcraft" into a search engine, it will likely take you a looong time to get through all the websites that you find. Keep in mind the source or orientation of what you're reading, because an Asatru-oriented site will have different "take" on things than will a Wicca-oriented site, or a Shamanism-oriented site, or a Hoodoo-oriented site, or... well, you get the idea. The silver lining to that cloud of confusion is that by familiarizing yourself with the basics of different paths & traditions can help you choose the path that best resonates with & fulfills your needs. Of course, there's also this amazing community available as a great source as well... :-) Happy learning!
