Salt (some crystals may be damaged by this, so please search before doing it), moonlight, flames (could be damaged), sunlight, sand, soil. These are all of the ways I know how to cleanse crystals.
Salt in water, keep it in motion then once you have done your divination/spell has been said leave the waters to settle then use them to cleans your materials :D
salt and incense are your best friends!!! i also LOVE rosemary or lavender. be careful with sage/palo santo as these are endagered and also sacred to natives and most natives arent okay with people using these unles they are native as well. ♡ you can even just use regular water! like you can hold a crystal under water and let it rinse away negative energy! (be careful with this as not all crystals can get wet. you can even get creative. like with tarot cards, you can knock on the deck to knock away any negative energy, or blow away. you can also use sound. investing in bells or singing bowls are amazing ways to cleanse and bring in positive energies!!! also, even just turning on happy music and dancing around can brighten a space and bring in good energy. fresh air is great, open your windows and let fresh air and LIGHT in! get the old stagnant air out if possible :) keeping plants is another great way to keep your air clean. also physically cleaning up is a great way to get rid of negative energies. getting rid of the trash on your nightstan, the clothes on your floor, etc. it’ll help to get rid of old stale energies so you can make room for good positive energies!!!
I use my lyre/ harp as cleasing music a lot. I had heard of a harp's healing powers before. Works nicely for me! It's a very meditative experience as well!
Hello! I'm a baby witch in New Zealand and I'm excited to be here! I just have a question. I'm just learning about cleansing spaces, but I don't have any incense or smudge sticks to use for my room. It is ok for me to use an essential oil burner to cleanse instead? It's just a dish of oil with a tealight under it to heat the oil, but I don't know if that is ok to use for cleansing and I couldn't find anything online. I plan on getting the proper cleansing tools after quarantine, but will this do for now? Thanks!
If you already have essential oils, you can also mix them with water and put in a spray bottle to spray around the room and to cleanse your tools. I would recommend looking into which essential oils may irritate sensitive skin as well in case any oils make contact with the skin :)
Just make sure to activate your oils for your intention (basically tell the oils what they are going to be doing in your cleansing water. Example: "I activate this frankincense oil to protect this space and all who dwell within from any physical, mental, emotional, or spiritual intentions." Etc.)

I've heard that some witches use incense or smoke to cleanse their cards/space as the smoke makes it easier to visualize.

If you are cleansing yourself with sage, don't forget to smudge under your feet :)
