As long as I can remember I have always used baths as a way of connecting, cleansing (literally and spiritually), celebrating. Anyone else out there who does and what are your go-to rituals (i.e. herbs, etc.)?
I love ritualistic baths! There's one I particularly like from one of the books I read (Witch by Lisa Lister) that I can share with you :3
Things you'd need:
Rose quartz
A few sprigs of Rosemary
A candle of your choice
A calming essential oil (like lavender or rose, or anything you prefer, really)
Bath salts like Epsom or Himalayan salt.
Music (I listen to a Celtic playlist, but it's optional and up to you!)
I start off by filling up my bathtub, and while that's happening I set up my music and light up my candle.
Then I add the salts, rosemary sprigs, rose quartz and essential oils into the water. Then I go in, and I concentrate on all of the hardships or stress that has been weighing on me in my life, and I imagine it leaving my body and entering the water around me.
I meditate on that thought process for a while, and once I'm ready to be finished, I unclog the drain and lie in the water until all of it has drained down, and I imagine all of the hardships and stress going down the drain and back into Earth.
That's the gist of it :)) you can tweak it in any way you want, of course!
