(Do forgive any incorrect/offensive terms, I'm new to this)
I've always had a love for the magical and a belief in the power of energy and nature but I never knew where to start. I LOVE bookstores and like to pour of the shelves of many genres, including the actual practicing of magic and witchcraft lore but never knew which books to start with, where to turn to learn, etc. and my craving for a spiritual purpose would wane into just childish fancy, I suppose.
I have 2 Tarot decks, a Tarot Classic by AG Muller that were my father's and an Angelarium deck I fell in love with after seeing the AMAZING artwork online. I've dabbled with them here and there but was always afraid I was interpreting them wrong.
I also have a strong belief in nature and energy, as I mentioned before. I find my peace walking through the woods and mountains and feeling the icy chill of mountain water, grass, and the warm sun against my skin, it calms me like no other. (I'm a Libra if that explains anything to those of you who understand that influence better than I) And I love the idea of practicing sigils and spellwork.
I've had my run-ins with spirits too. Specifically, my grandparents (my mother's side) the first few years after they passed but not really at all since, and mine and my fiance's little boy, Alex (Ryan's Himalayan/Persian mix he had when we met) , who passed away a year ago this August 4th ( It doesn't feel that long and I didn't realize how close that is so that just hit really hard), days from his 19th birthday.
Essentially, what I'm trying to say is, I'm new to this world and want to learn more of it and embrace a knowledge of the beautiful side of the world and stop letting this be a dream I've only dreamt.
